Persey is reserved, at first teasingly sharing hints of blackberry, cassis, savory herbs and earth. As the wine opens, it evolves its introversion and is overcome with outgoing rich red fruit and black tea with a balanced mineral backbone. The finish is long and unforgettable with firm tannins.
